A public record of meaningful PartyDey product changes

PartyDey introduced a unified Communication workspace for event messaging. Hosts can compose editable messages, start from practical templates, preview the exact outgoing content, choose an audience, send immediately or schedule delivery, and review scheduled and historical sends from the same operational flow.

Communication can target guests by payment status, attendance, assignment, and fulfilment. Hosts can start a message directly from the guest list, assignments, attendance, or fulfilment. Delivery controls include a dedicated communication allowance, recipient confirmation, safe duplicate prevention, scheduled-message cancellation, retrying failed recipients, and clear delivery details.

Guest Assignment was expanded into a multi-dimension event-operations system. Hosts can organise guests into configurable labels using cyclic, weighted, capacity-aware, conditional, and manual assignment workflows while preserving issued history and keeping future routing editable.

Assignment context is now usable beyond the assignment screen. Relevant labels can appear in Gate and PartyDey Live operations and can be used as Communication audiences so an operational group can be reached without manually rebuilding the list.

PartyDey connected live event information into an Event Command experience designed to help hosts read what is happening around an event and act from the same operational layer. The command surface brings event intelligence and operational actions closer to the event workspace instead of leaving them as disconnected reports.

PartyDey expanded its post-payment continuity with event-scoped Invite & Earn links, referral chaining, host and guest Rewards dashboards, withdrawal requests, Hosting Credits, and administrative Rewards controls.

The cash-reward engine now enforces one positive cash beneficiary per qualifying payment. A valid external referrer takes priority; otherwise the host reward can apply. This prevents host and referral cash rewards from stacking on the same qualifying payment.

The successful-checkout experience was redesigned to show a clearer confirmation state, receipt information, event context, group beneficiaries where applicable, next-step guidance, Guest Space entry points, and a guest-to-host continuation path. Invite & Earn remains connected to the post-payment journey for eligible guests.

PartyDey introduced a persistent Guest Space and My Events / Event Passport experience. Guests can keep their PartyDey event history together, return to relevant event details, see access and payment context, review activity, and carry their identity forward when they later decide to host an event.

Package checkout was expanded so guests can see the included items or entitlements attached to a package before completing payment. Group checkout and package handling were also tightened so the public buying experience reflects what the host configured.

PartyDey added public and administrative payment-recovery flows for cases where a Paystack payment succeeds but the PartyDey checkout or local synchronization does not finish cleanly. Recovery verifies the provider reference before restoring the relevant journey.

PartyDey expanded custom event forms with additional structured field types and visibility conditions. New field categories include full name, currency, percentage, rating, gender, marital status, occupation, organization, ID details, social handles, consent, section dividers, and rich text.

Event forms gained file-upload and image-upload fields, including upload progress and host-side rendering of uploaded content.

PartyDey added event-form versioning and change-impact assessment so structural form edits can be introduced without rewriting the meaning of historical submissions.

PartyDey introduced group payment preparation, initiation, and confirmation flows with beneficiary handling and payment confirmation logic.

Hosts gained promo-code management and checkout application, including validation, payment adjustments, and promo usage analytics.

PartyDey added host workspace switching, team membership handling, permission-aware navigation, and controlled access to team and payout operations.
